2019 HERE WE COME

The Management and Volunteer team at Hainworth community centre hope    you all had a very merry Christmas and we would like to wish everybody a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year and to thank you for all your hard work and support in what has been a very difficult year.

2019 is going to be a good year for Hainworth, we have lots of activities and events being planned and we sincerely hope we have your continued support during the year and look forward to seeing you in the centre.


			

PRE CHRISTMAS EVENTS

Here’s just a few of the events that ran in December

Crafty Christmas –  classes ran for 6 weeks prior to the big day,                                                                                                                                                were well attended and great fun for those taking part

We had a great afternoons entertainment from Adare and Renato

   

Our over 50’s group were invited to Christmas lunch at the civic centre

 

On the 15th December we had our last event of the year, Christmas Funday and although the                                                                                weather was really bad a few braved the storm to visit Santa – a good afternoon

Another super Sunday here at the community centre ! Despite the dismal weather, it was amazing to welcome so many people including a few new faces ? we would like to convey our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Elspeth Mangham, Scott Carnegie, Gilly Plant and Ellen for their help and support. A special thanks to Patrick Atkinson and Tommy for making the time to volunteer.. much appreciated guys !??
A big big thank you to Elaine Kirkbright and daughter Deborah for their wonderful donation of a food hamper, Marie McCool ( Co op Wilsden) for the scrumptious cakes & sweets ! Also a special mention for Geoffrey John Morters, who travelled from Bradford to join us.. AND to everyone else who attended to make the last food kitchen of 2018 an extra special one

The Community Kitchen runs the first Sunday of every month,

the next one will be on Sunday 6th January 2019

10am to 2pm
